Founded as Shartel & Wells on January 1, 1902, Lytle Soulé & Felty, a Professional Corporation, is the oldest firm in Oklahoma City and one of the oldest firms in the State.

Before 1982, the Oklahoma Supreme Court would only allow non-deceased partners to be listed in the firm name, thus requiring the firm to modify its name over the years.
